97-99 LS1 ***ALUMINUM*** Tooled W/P Pulley

Only 16 in existence! Commissioned by GM Powertrain to eek-out every last drop of extra performance. Cancelled by GM Powertrain Purchasing Dept. due to the volitility of aluminum pricing in the late 90’s. Assigned unique Part Number 12555817, but tooled off of 12552059 tooling and bears this P/N. Saved form scrap pile as I knew some day these would be significant (20 yrs later). Added 3.6 to 3.8 HP over steel part…not enough for GMPT to re-hash the repricing of the commodity every 3 months with the supplier. Ultimately replaced with the even heavier 1-pc “bell” pulley as costs was becoming more of a concern than performance (I was the Account Manager for the Supplier). Been in my basement for 20 years now and would like to get them into the right hands. Pulleys bear bolt installation marks and belt-witness marks from the validation tests done at the supplier. Each pulley is tagged with the test spec and cyclic duration. Same e-coat as the steel pulley (168hr salt-spray). Original draw-tooling is long gone for 2059…I signed off on the GMPT scrap auth. for that too. Would post on ebay but stupid rule changes affect how many things anyone can sell now (and I have 100% feedback). Luckily found this site. $150USD ea. plus shipping or make offer on lot of 16.
