This hood was ona 65 Corvette Coupe that I bought approximately 12 years ago. As I researched the car, I found that it had originally been a big block car out of the factory. I decided to tear the car down and restore it to its factory condition. After 9 years of restoration, I came down with cancer and had to stop my work on the car. I ended up selling the car. I retained a number of the original parts I removed from the car. This Milan Maroon (paint code MM) was one of them.I have had the hood wrapped up and sitting in a corner. I believe that it is time that it did somebody some good with their project. This hood is in superb condition. It has one small paint chip on one edge and a small crack up front.
